Since the outbreak of COVID-19, UL has closely monitored the situation and activated plans at a local and global level to help assure the safety and well-being of our employees, customers and communities.
New Zealand’s Prime Minister Ardern announced yesterday that New Zealand will be stepping down to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 with effect from 11:59p.m. on Monday, 27 April 2020.
Our laboratory staff in Auckland are able to return to the workplace and re-commence testing activity from Tuesday, 28 April 2020.
Laboratory management will be in touch later this week to provide project specific advice with regards to expected testing resumption or commencement.
Safety is the heart of our mission and employee well-being is paramount. We have undertaken a number of precautionary measures to help protect the health and safety of our employees as they return to work. We are continually evolving our response and taking decisive action to stay aligned with recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other regional authorities.
Thank you for your continued patience and support during this time.
Stay healthy and safe.
